ELIZABETH BRECK is the Edgar-nominated author of the Madison Kelly mystery series as well as the new Meg Minnehan's Misfits children's mystery adventure series. She is also a state of California licensed private investigator.
She has worked mainly in the field of insurance investigations, making her the real-life version of Sue Grafton’s Kinsey Millhone; as such, when the second book in the Madison Kelly Mystery Series was nominated for the Sue Grafton Memorial Award at the Edgar Awards, life seemed to have come full circle.
Elizabeth is proud of her BA in Literature/Writing, summa cum laude, from the University of California San Diego, which she obtained at age 51—it's never too late to follow your dreams.
